Colour is one of my greatest inspirations. This close up of Japanese maple in the fall demanded to be painted.

For Ukraine - I have painted this jug full of sunflowers several times. It never fails me. Like the world, my heart is breaking for the people of Ukraine.

The rich reds and pinks of the fall barrens are exhilarating.
